We Call it World (2024)

Songtext

Verse 1:
unconscious souls
is what`s left,
on a planet that is bleeding, but we are still believe!
That we could
change this coldness of the feelings,
but we steering (the world) right into the end!

Verse 2:
there is no lesson
to learn it, what the children of tomorrow will receive,
i guess it`s just the way it goes!

Chorus:
if trees would send Wifi signals, we would plant a million trees,
but unfortunately they just produce the oxygen we breath!
Bombs are flying, people dying, relentless crying and the poor denying!
Welcome to the nightmare that we call world!

About the Song

Three Words:
HOW IT ENDS

Live Experience:
“We Call It World” is one of those songs that instantly sets things in motion – not for dancing, but for full-on chaos. At one of our recent gigs, a mic hit Pyro in the face mid-pogo. No big deal. But when someone spilled his beer, that was it – message delivered. Just another night in the madness.

Musical Vibe:
A raw, driving punk rock track with an apocalyptic undertone. The guitars come in hard, the drums hit dry and sharp, the bass holds the groove. The vocals are loud and upfront – unfiltered and to the point.

Structure & Production:
Two short verses, one cutting chorus – no frills, no bridges. Just punchy and direct. Fully self-produced, focused on capturing the energy rather than chasing perfection.

How It Came Together:
The idea came from Pyro. The intro riff took some getting used to, but it found its place. The lyrics – especially the opening line of the chorus – hit right away. “We Call It World” was recorded during the same session as “Low Hokla”, a time when we were experimenting with a DAW switch to Pro Tools. It changed the way we worked. “Low Hokla” came out more polished; “We Call It World” kept the edge. There were plans for more songs – but those two captured where we were.

Looking Back:
This track marks a turning point. We learned a lot about what works for us – sound-wise and attitude-wise. It sits somewhere between raw and refined. Rough enough to feel real.
